The Skinner 1-6X24 variable power scope is an amazing tool for a variety of hunting styles, from tree stand sits, to still-hunting to tracking big woods bucks. Where the 3-9 was once the ever-versatile option, the 1-6 variable power scope has taken those honors over the last decade; and for good reason. The Skinner 1-6 scope has the advantage of a 1MOA lit reticle (CR2023 battery powered) in a German #4 crosshair reticle that acts as a true 1 power red dot optic at its lowest setting, and then can be turned up to a full 6 power when needed for shots out to 300+ yards or sniping through a group of beech whips on a boreal ridge. The BWB Team has tested this optic for 2 full seasons with no issues whatsoever. It has positive clicks for easy adjustment, a massive field of view, and the price is absolutely exceptional, especially with the quality of glass and build quality that Andy Larrson of Skinner Sights demanded when designing and testing the scope.
